It is no surprise that boxers use their shoulders and arms more than any other athlete. Knee injuries! What are they good for? Absolutely nothing!

The knee's play a crucial role in most athletic activities such as running and jumping.

How Can a Sports Chiropractor Help You?
What I get asked on a daily basis is "What is a Sports Chiropractor and how do they differ from a traditional Chiropractor?" Often the next question is "Can they help me?"

To answer the first question, it is important to note that to be a Sports Chiropractor, you must first be a Chiropractor! Fully licensed and qualified from university. The main difference between the two is sports chiropractors, as you may have already read, must undertake the further studies in sports movement, injury management for sports specific activities as well as understanding the specific demands that athletes must endure in order to progress and continually improve in their chosen activity. This knowledge helps us to develop the right strategies for you and choose the correct rehab plan to help you return to the activities that you love to do.

So with that said, of course we can help you! Once we have ruled out any underlying pathology that may be contraindicated for treatment, we will begin assessing to identify and ultimately treating to eliminate the underlying cause of your pain. With the right treatment strategy and rehabilitation plan, we'll get you back on the field, in the gym or back to work, fast.

No one wants to be in constant pain. Better health is only a call away.
